2013 – Terrible Fake

    Didn’t feel like that at the time but in hindsight, pivotal piece for pretty much everything that came after. Established piano and drums as core for the aesthetic that followed.
    The concept of “crippled beats/grooves” started here – different rhythm patterns are constantly permutating through morphing in form – permanent acceleration/deceleration, addition/subtraction, transformation/mutation.

    Chromatic nature used in the pieces before remained, although modified through rhythmic irregularity that almost created one-part counterpoint…
